Associate Professor Amorn Petsom, PhD, has served as the Director of the Office of Academic Resources at Chulalongkorn University, Thailand since 2015. Embracing a forward-thinking vision of ‘Reinventing the Library,’ he has modernized the library to meet international standards, focusing on smart technology and sustainable growth. Under his guidance, significant projects like the I-Thesis have been launched. This electronic thesis submission platform, integrated with a Thai Language plagiarism checker, is now adopted by over 20 universities in Thailand. Moreover, he championed for CUIR to attain the Core Trust Seal Certification for Trustworthy Institutional Repositories this year, ensuring the service sustainability planning. He also pioneered the innovative “Unmanned Library” called “Chula Ultimate X Library”, a fully automated system tailored for modern users and addressing staffing challenges.
Dr. Petsom’s unwavering commitment to excellence and sustainability shines through the library’s attainment of multiple international and national certifications, including the ISO9001:2015 Quality Management and Thailand’s Green Office Award in 2020, ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management in 2021, TLA’s Green Library Award and Thailand Excellent Library Award in 2022, and most recently the ISO45001:2018 Occupational Health and Safety in 2023. As a strong advocate for sustainable development, he has implemented solar rooftops, zero-waste water systems, and various energy-saving projects. Dr. Petsom foster a culture of continuous improvement and sustainability among the library staff, offering opportunities like scholarships, staff-exchange programs, and both re-skilling and up-skilling training sessions. His visionary leadership has not only transformed a century-old library into a smart library but have also laid the foundation for its sustainable growth, making it a second home for all.
Bill Moran

Bill Moran is currently the Publisher of the Science Family of Journals. In his role, Bill and the publishing team are responsible for content, rights and permissions, licensing, scientific meetings, publishing collaborations, advertising, outreach, Science Careers and all publishing operations.
During his 15 years with AAAS, Bill has been instrumental in broadening the association’s international publishing activities and collaborations. He spearheaded the launch of the Beijing office; in addition, he developed an international collaboration program for Science Publishing that encompasses Science Careers outreach. Bill has also worked with the Science editorial team to raise awareness of Science/AAAS within academic institutions in developed and developing countries.
Before joining AAAS, Bill had served as the vice president of Nature America, the US branch of Nature Publishing Group, and the director of product development and journal co-publishing of Informa Group.
Elvira B. Lapuz

A Senior Lecturer at the University of the Philippines, School of Library and Information Studies (UP-SLIS) handling courses in Management of Library and Information Center, Collection Development and Management and Records Management. From the same school she earned her Bachelor of Library Science (BLS) in 1991, and Master of Library Science (MLS) in 2003.
She is the former national President of the Philippine Librarians Association, Inc. (PLAI) in 2015-16 and the Philippine Association of Academic and Research Librarians (PAARL) in 2009.
She is a member of the Professional Regulations Commission-Continuing Professional Development Council (PRC-CPDC) for Librarians.
In 2016, she was selected as an Associate of the International Federation of Library Association and Institutions (IFLA) International Leaders Program2 (ILP2).
She’s elected Secretary of the National Commission for Culture and the Arts – National Committee on Library and Information Services (NCCA-NCLIS) to serve from 2023 to 2025.
An elected member of IFLA’s Regional Division Committee for Asia-Oceania and Executive Board of the Congress of Southeast Asian Librarians (CONSAL).
Christine M. Abrigo

Christine M. Abrigo is an academic librarian involved in leadership and management initiatives within her university and various projects in the fields of library and information science and archival studies in the library communities. Her research interests include the nature of work and communicating value, learning organization, library leadership and management, knowledge sharing, and cultural heritage. She actively conducts research studies and has had publication and research dissemination opportunities in local and international knowledge sharing venues. She also serves the profession through her involvement in professional library organizations and consortia as a resource person and other capacities.
Christine is the immediate past Director of Libraries and currently serves as Archivist of De La Salle University. She obtained her degrees in Bachelor and Master of Library and Information Science from the School of Library and Information Studies, University of the Philippines. She is a Doctor of Communication student at the University of the Philippines Open University.

To me, the knowledge process is not sequential and knowledge is contextual, whereas KM is more about organic people and culture rather than technology. Reading, photography and travelling are among others that I am passionate about.

Labibah is the head of UIN Sunan Kalijaga Library, The president of Association of Indonesian Islamic University (APPTIS 2017-2023), The Past President of SLA Asian Chapter (2018), Coordinator of Networking at Indonesia -State University Libraries Networking Forum (FKP2TN 2017-2023) and Elected Member of IFLA Asia-Oceania (2020-2023), Member of IFLA Special Interest Group of LIS in the developing Countries (2023-2025), Networking Board Division of Indonesian Librarian Association (2022- 2025). She is an Assistant Professor of LIS Department at UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta Indonesia. She wrote some articles, short stories and edited some books. Dr. Mohd Faizal Hamzah

He is also a part-time lecturer at the same University. His education begins in 2006 when he completed his Diploma in Information Management at Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM). He later pursued his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees at the same university in the year 2008 and 2011, respectively. In 2019, he managed to graduate on time with his Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) which he specialized in Information Management (work design and work performance). Having more than 12 years of experience with more than 40 article publications in the field of Library Science and information management, Dr. Faizal has been conferred numerous awards.
One of the most prestigious awards that he has received is the Malaysia Aspiring Librarian Award in 2015 and the most recent one Masti Gemilang Administrator Award (Social Writing) 2022 and Masti Gemilang Administrator Award (Research) Other Schemes 2022. Due to his excellent achievements, he has been appointed as the Vice President II for Malaysian Librarian Association (2019- 2022), the Chairman for Special Disabled Users in Library (2016- present), and Malaysia Representative to Southeast Asian Librarians Leadership Convergence (2021- present).
Shameem Nilofar Maideen

Shameem Nilofar Maideen is currently University Librarian at Singapore Management University (SMU). She is a computer science engineer by training and has worked in the IT industry for over 10 years before going on to do her post-graduate degree in Library and Information Science. Since then, she has worked for over 15 years in librarianship in various mid-level and senior positions. She has held various portfolios and has been a key driving force behind numerous initiatives that have transformed SMU Libraries into a dynamic and active partner in the learning and research process, as well as a cutting-edge collaborative learning space, while expanding its digital-first collection and services. In her current role she leads a high performing team in dreaming, driving, and delivering library service innovation that positively impacts the community.

Assistant Professor Thipsuda Kitlert is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in Educational Leadership at Suan Dusit University. She completed her master’s degree in Educational Technology at Srinakharinwirot University. As an expert in educational technology, she starts a policy orientation towards organization development to be both compact and resilient to change and corresponds the concept of “simple but effective” or “jiew” but “jaew” in Thai language. Furthermore, the model of Upskill, Reskill, and Newskill aims to let the university’s students and staff enable learning about new technologies through the diverse creation of learning formats and space, both within the educational system and lifelong learning, for instance, SDU Online Course and SDU MOOC. Also, the support of learning space and open space and changing the classroom into hybrid learning format that incorporate digital technology successfully illustrate the proactive services.
Concurrently, under the leadership of Associate Professor Dr. Sirote Pholpuntin, President of Suan Dusit University, we have implemented the One World Library policy, transforming it into a multifaceted learning center with integrated activities in various format, connected within the integrated and continuous space.
Dr. Wong Woei Fuh

Dr Wong is a manager of iGroup Asia, leading a team of consultants. Together with his team of diverse talents, they provide research analytics to universities leading to series of research outreach campaigns in alignment with SDG impacts. The current projects include Universiti Malaya, Multimedia University, Padjajaran University, East China Normal University, to name a few. The team also helps to improve the online visibility of the regional OA publishers like Zoological Society of Japan and Journal of Nuclear Science & Technique (China) for wider readership and improved impact factors. Dr. Wong is the regular coach of the “3-minute Thesis” program for Singapore Management University. Before this, he worked for Web of Science, and he holds a Ph.D. from the University of Manchester.
